Revolutionary Flash Sales! by Pika-la-Cynique Revolutionary Flash Sales! by Pika-la-Cynique
I've just finished my history comic! rah! so yes expect me back in fandom to some extent! Hopefully in time to make some fun goodies and merch in time for the gift-giving season...

This panel is an excerpt from a page detailing how the French Revolutionary government eventually sold back to private individuals (on what basis of merit, bribery or ideological purity I couldn't say....) a whole lot of the land and properties that were confiscated from the Church in the years following 1789.

I may post some more previews here soon - it's a wee trip through the history of a specific location in Lyon, a small habited island just upriver of the main city.

Watercolour and digital.

You make history fun! If there were comic books in my history classes when I was a kid, I would have gotten much better grades.
