Sarah is (once again?) the only character to have had a normal 80s childhood and pre-Labyrinth adolescence - of course, the "both the movies AND their fictional cast exist [sometimes]" meta-ness gets a bit hard to keep straight at times, but in this case, she recognizes the name as you and I would - just not the character when spied on from afar. Javert IS very fond of cop shows and movies but hasn't made his way through all the CSI DVDs yet, and since he is far too straight to download or watch them online, is saving up to buy all the seasons. So no, he hasn't seen that classic thriller - and Chris doesn't like horror films (well, at least not the girl-held-in-basement-by-kidnapping psycho sort...).
I think Sarah has a[n over]sensitivity to caffeine rather similar to Erik's.... Also, no need to be concerned about murderous cannibal criminal geniuses stirring up trouble in the plot beyond this one joke - this is Sergeant Angel's beat, mate, and him and Danny won't be having with that.
