It rather looks like Sarah (and Erik, to some extent) can dish it out but not take it when it comes to ribbing about sex lives. Christine is gonna have to talk Raoul out of trollingly leaving a bottle of muscat and a box of condoms highly visibly out on the coffee table when they head out on Friday, I think....
Yeah, the idea is that's a fancypants music-y way of Erik having a tumblr-esque "I need Jesus" moment, there. Sure, things are going great with Mag but he really does not want to know about Christine and Raoul getting it on, nor Sarah and his loathèd roommate. Hi, ES shippers, s'been a while.

Oh! Christine is out and Raoul is... in. That was unexpected, somehow. (Well, I suppose he's not just visiting her, he's temporarily living in the apartment and does need to have a normal existence not tied to her apron-strings at least some of the time while he's three thousand miles away from home...)
Erik isn't still keeping up the sleepwalking conditioning thing, is he? Had he considered... just playing those particular pieces during the daytime, when he can be reasonably certain Christine is not asleep, or not in the Building? (Or was he intending them for Mag?
)
I'm getting a certain feeling that this pre-emptive apology is not so much an apology as a touch of boasting about his musical potency - old rivalry dies hard
Also, if this visit is going on much longer, Christine and Raoul really need to 'get a room' on a more permanent basis (particularly if they are getting married!) The joint apartment is getting a bit small for three -- whatever the breakfast benefits
