In modern New York, Magic Is Fact. 

Science has been a tool to harness it, history has been shaped by it, races and nations have risen and toppled from its spark. Yet so much of the world remains the same…on the surface. Every myth, deity, and fantasy walks the streets alongside man. Even here, one constant holds true. When coexistence and dominance clash, when they are always at stake, storms brew. And within these clouds, something lurks.

Across the Branches of Creation, Beings look to a sky that threatens them with something hasn’t been seen in millennia: The Impossible.

Humans, selkies, amazons...countless others sense the abominations and horrors priming to burst out and rain down. The darkened sky and its rough beasts slouching onward to destroy everything we have built.

But it will be alright.

Because while those endless monsters stare down at us with hunger and greed, while their worst gazes are those of indifference...two of their ilk walk among us.
