Girls Next DoorSpin-off from *AsheRhyder's original idea and fancomic, 'Roommates'. Sarah Williams from Labyrinth and Christine Daaé from The Phantom of the Opera - trying desperately to get on with ordinary lives, in spite of their respective stalkers-slash-suitors, glitter, unexpected crossovers, Random Black Chickens, meddling Powers of Fanservice, preternatural perverts, Sushi Incidents, Nanny Ogg, strange neighbours, thin-to-defunct Fourth Walls and oodles of Unresolved Sexual Tension. CommentsYou've opened my eyes to, like, crazy amounts of things to read and watch via this comic. Currently reading Neverwhere. THANK YOU.
This...is literally exactly what I needed. I just got into the Labyrinth fandom and I've been searching for ages for a long, in character fic. Crack or serious. But this...this webcomic isn't only the perfect crack fic, but everyone is in character and it's a CROSSOVER FIC. I could legit worship you right now. Saving all of the pages on my computer to go on a marathon tomorrow. THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU. I needed this. So much. And I love you for writing it.
Also your art style is fantastic. <3 Oh, thank you ever so much. Verra vindicating.
As for the Good Stuff, well... *shifty eyes, opens coat* What ye're looking for, guv? Like... try and look up fics by KL Morgan, Danse Macabre, Scattered Logic, Knife Edge... Lixxle brings the cracktastic giggles, and Subtilior writes both the fluffiest and the most terrifying labyfics you can imagine. I've cleaned out A03 and I'm enough of a fic snob to go through the massive amount that ff.net has (and by fic snob, I mean I'm easily intimidated by such a large number of fics that I don't have time to sort through.) Thankyouthankyouthankyou. I've been going through serious fic withdrawels, and I don't think I've read anything by any of those authors. (!!!) Which is ALWAYS a good thing. Thanks for the recs! Can't wait to look them up(And for the webcomic update. :3) personally I'm excited to see how an author can pull off both terrifying and fluffy, and of course crack is always, always a good thing.
*just checked out Subtilior* I...had no idea she wrote Shards of a Dream, which is legit my favorite piece of Labyrinth fanfiction I have ever read (and she did it as a gift to you! How didn't I see that? O.o) I've probably read it over four times. Aaaand to find out she's written more? *heavinglyheaven* Sorry. I don't mean to spam your page, I'm just kind of excited...
I can haz, cute widdle owl picture of Jareth. Just him, fluffy and adorable with the wibbly eyes asking to be let in a little thought bubble? That would be grand!
Oh hey, and am I the only who realizes that perhaps J.K Rowling is fan-girl as well. I mean think about it for a sec: Jareth's owl form is a Snowy Barn Owl, and Harry Potter's mandatory pet is a snowy owl, coincidence? Sorry, just looked that up, you are so totally right they aren't . . . no idea why I didn't see that before. Jareth is a Barn Owl (like the one I saw a few days ago . . I wonder) and Hedwig is a completely different ball game and I'm type ranting stuff you all ready know so, Thanks for the clarity, I'm going to stop now.
