The Silver Hilt - illustration

A vignette illustration for uber-massive class project which was illustrating an entire short story or fairytale. I picked The Silver Hilt by Ferenc Molnar, which was pretty obscure but really rather witty. It's about an alchemist who claims to have found a formula to make his employer, the Scarlet Count, irresistible to women... so long as he keeps a firm grasp the bespelled hilt of his sword--nudge-nudge, wink-wink...
