For the "Ten Things..." competition on *The-Labyrinth-Club

Pencil, done on the train since that's the only time I could spare on non-school projects (and even that's too much), and some Photoshop CS2 enhancing.

wow........as usual a good piece of art
the strongest point in your pic is that you have caught the scence of the labyrinth without Jareth nor Sarah in the pic.

What a delight this is! All this inventing, this producing, takes place in a pleasing, lively dream.

I would have never guessed photoshop; I would have guessed conté crayon. Since I prefer conté to photoshop, I like this a lot; it reminds me of the children's book "The Princess and the Goblin".

Wassailing sounds like it should be some kind of attack formation.

Thanks.
I have a version of "The Princess and the Goblin", but the illustrations are watercolours.
I really like that story, actually; I'd've loved to do it as a class illustration project only it was far too long.

Nostalgic for 80s fantasy films. When glitter was cheap, monsters were muppets, and Evil was smexy.

I have one with ink illustrations. I remember reading it for the first time when I was seven, but I can't remember the last time that I read it; I need to read it again. And yes; It is a little long for a class proj.

Squee! And my new found love of the labyrinth has just heightened! Must...draw....goblins! (and their king, of course...)
