Report a Policy Violation
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I remember *Mercuralis telling a similar tale.
That is, suddenly finding yourself confronted with a Goblin King imperiously saying : "Do my portrait, fanartist. You haven't been paying me enough attention of late." Me: - "Excuse me? I'm currently writing you a bedroom scene, on free time I do not have - how is that not enough attention?" His Nibs : - "I don't care. That's taking far too long, anyway. You need to draw me." Me: - "Noooo, what I need to do is work on a whole lot of other things right now. I have schoolwork, you do realise? And do you know what my classmates will say when they find yet another picture of you in my sketchbook?! And it's 1am?" His Nibs : - "And you seem to think that I care. How cute." Me : - "Oh no. Don't you go channelling Subtilior's Evil!Jareth here." His Nibs [sighs, stretches like a cat] : - "Do get on with it. You know you like drawing me, anyway." Me: - "... You are such a vain, entitled prat." His Nibs [eyes closed.] - "You're sounding like Sarah. And you know what that means..." Me : - "... That I'm coming perilously close to a confession of self-insertion? Why yes, thank you, I know." >_< [grumbles] "Bloody self-aware fantasies... " [gets started.] ... [snide] "And may I ask why the gratuitious prettyboy pose, Your Majesty?" His Nibs : - "Hmm? Oh, I just felt like being lusted over a little. You have a fair number of watchers by now, don't you? This seemed like an effective way to get some attention. [smirk] You know, they might even thank you for it." Me : - "I don't approve. This is shameless." His Nibs : [smirk] - "Shameless? When I'm letting let you get away with cutting me off at the waist? ... Besides, I don't give a toss whether you approve or not, I'm just ordering you to make me look hot. Oh, and while we're on the topic of my incredibly good looks - do try to get my nose right this time, will you?" Me: [mutter to self] - "Bastard. ...Why is it I get all the arrogance and hassle and none of the perks...?" --- ... Anyway. personally I think that beside a 'lil bit more detail on his right hand the pic is perfect like it is...of course you could go colors, but maybe only traditional would do it; but as you have mentioned you DON'T have time for this... such a pity.
anyway, congratulations on succeding the HOT jareth pic, I blame the hotness on the gloves, and the half open shirt, and obviously the infuriating smile/smirk....
next time you see yourself confrontated to the Goblin King...give in to it right away; ya know he is right, and that eventually you will do his portrait, so exchanging insults is childish and you deprive yourself of precious sleeping time. and concerning the watchers issue.. THANK YOU
