( = Valentines, Part 2)

... And somewhere, a (still tipsy) barn owl is falling out of a tree laughing his feathered ass off.

OK, explanation and apology for those of you who don't recognize the character. This is crossing over with Stephanie Meyer's vampire-and-werewolf YA romance novels, Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. They involve a gloriously angsty love triangle between the mortal girl Bella, her vampire boyfriend - the beyootiful, smooth, golden Edward Cullen - and Jacob (Jake) Black, a Native American teenager who is, wouldn't you know it, a hereditary werewolf and natural enemy of the vampire clan... and in love with Bella.

After much angst and misunderstandings and quoting 'Romeo&Juliet' and 'Wuthering Heights', by the end of book three things have pretty much worked out in Edward's favour. (I hope I'm not spoiling the books too much for those not that far along.)

Jake, therefore, joins the Hurt, Rejected, Emo Lovers Club of this strip. ^^;

Yeah. And I kick puppies, too.

This is a work of fanart, and solely intended for shits and giggles. No money is being made by this.

Sarah (c) Henson, Lucas, and Connelly.
Jacob Black (c) Stephanie Meyer and whichever movie studio it is has snapped up the adaptation rights.

hey there, I think I've commented once before but I've been following these and your fanfics for a little while. I just had to comment because I love the Twighlight series as well as Labyrinth and thought this was hysterical. Poor Jacob, he can't catch a break, he's not one of my favorites though, too manipulative. Keep up the good work!

There is no fate for us. Only those who are swallowed by ignorance and fear and miss a step, fall into the rapid river called fate.

The intelligent man wins his battles with pointed words. I'm sorry -- I meant sticks. Pointed sticks.

Wow, that was an awesome jab at Twilight. Poor Jacob X_X

oh man, poor Jacob.... He never gets a chance does he? Perfect immortal guys capturing the hearts of girls all over the place! Can't a friendly werewolf get a break???

But still that is so funny and I would bet that Jareth really is falling out of a tree in laughter..... :lmao:

Oh, what a shame. Jacob and Sarah actually looked cute together...but than again that would not go well with J/S fans.

O well, poor Jacob. (sigh)

Overall, another awesome comics!

It's interesting that you should mention those books. I have a friend who reads them although she only mentioned the vampire in them. A Native American werewolf sparks my interest mainly because in the show I'm creating there are two types of werewolves, the slobbering, blood-thirsty European werewolves and the kind, intelligent and peaceful American werewolves whose nature and culture are much like that of Native Americans. (They speak n' such) The whole thing is still a work in much progress but that's really awesome!

Oh yeah, Jareth must really love this sight. :XD:

This manga has plenty of naked girls and not nearly enough shirtless men! :ohnoes:
Vampires, Ninjas and Nazis oh my! [link]

Ahaa awwww poor Jacob. I love twilight. I've been trying to post more fancomics of them, but really....motivation is zilch.

Still, I absolutely adore you now. Like the love-o-freakin-meter is off the charts. Off the richter. *dances*

Aw, Jake's a cutie! And vampires are overrated, anyway. =P
