Also, the title is just slightly funny if you've been reading the French translation of the Twilight books, whose dramatic titles are "Fascination", "Hesitation", "Temptation" and "Revelation" (Note for those who study French and have translations to do : the French loooove their intellectual abstract nouns).
While I might spare Book!Edward the time of the day (he, at least, has some sense of humour and self-deprecation), Stick-up-his-arseMovie!Edward... I'm not going to be very nice to.
And there you have it: Legolas is the strip's butt monkey because I'm so embarrassed by my teenage phase of fangirling him.

I'm with Legolas on this one. True, I wasn't gaga in fangirl love over him, but back when Lord of the Rings had its time in the sun, I was a fan of his, pre-tween girl though I was.
Glad to see that other people besides me can like book Edward (at least in Twilight) but well...not-really-like-is-the-nice-way-of-saying-it movie Edward. At All. Oh poor Sarah. When one sparkly supernatural creature is gone, he's replaced by another... xD
On this re-read, I re-discovered Javert's completed increduilty: "Have I gone complete mad or is he... sparkling?" We already know that Javert has no opinion of Jareth, so here's someone who disrupts the regular group's event, nearly killing one of the girls, and this intruder is sparkling. I have to think that his lawman's mind is running through all possible ways of removing the twit, should the path of law & order be chosen.
I still like the timing of that last panel, and the fact that a lot of people didn't quite get that that was Jareth-font talking/the edge of a glitterpoof disappointed me slightly.
And I STILL "squee" at the last panel.
