I assume you're talking about the Phantom characters. Multiple sources, novel and Webber musical principally, with some acknowledgement of the 2004 movie version. The sequel is a new musical called 'Love Never Dies' - may the power of Wikipedia be with you.

XD I finally understand Roommates and Girls next Door; I actually managed to find a DVD of Labyrinth and watched it. It was awesome. 0_0
