I wouldn't possibly be so cruel as to troll my readers by cutting away from the colourful, glittery, feathery cliffhanger in the Labyrinth to random everyday happenings in greyscale... oh wait, yep I would. Eh, Louisa needs time to do someone's epic glitter-bamfing dramatic entry justice a break.

OCs! Canberra and Cheryl ( [link] ) are back. They are roommates and live a little way away near campus. Cheryl has had a very rough time of it, what with part-time waitressing at the sushi place as usual, on top of law finals and a bout of that 'flu that's going round. But still going steady with Legolas.
Yeah, and what with 'The Hobbit' out and all, obscure Tolkien jokes are in again.

Aaaaand right out of left-field it's fan un-favourite Raoul de Chagny, visiting Christine (as was mentioned a few pages) back, and making good with Marsha for reasons unknown. (He's not lying about the traditional gifts or monetary étrennes. It's like a symbolic year's-worth of tips to one's "domestics"/harassed people who make your life easier - the concierge, post[wo]man...) What the heck does he think he's doing, trying to start up some new plotline??! There is JS drama going down, damnit!

Hahaha! Leggy gets to be the butt-monkey again. It's been a while! I don't think I realized he was actually dating Cheryl but good for them. Cheryl looks like she deserves an adorable boyfriend even if he is Captain Obvious.
Raoul's not my unfavorite! He's in the adorable & understanding column instead of the sexy & mysterious one but I definitely like him :)

I think if it weren't for the fact that it stars Legolas, of all people, and that it shows him in a not so...er....a more positive light...that his Nibs would approve of your evilness. (Although there is the fact that it deprives him of his full dramatic entrance.) I applaud you madam.

I have to say, in the beginning, I was a total OG/C shipper but after the event of their recent arcs Raoul has endeared himself to me.

(For some reason, whenever I imagine Jareth's entrance I keep thinking of the outfit he poofed into (ie black, crotch enhancing armor) to glitter/glower omniously on that one lovely page where Raoul got peer'd.)

Loved this comic, only issue with it is that Legolas wouldn't be able to make Lembas because it's the Queen's bread and only Galadriel and Melian can give out the bread, but then again, I can't remember whether or not the recipe got handed around through the years anyway and if it did get passed around, maybe Thranduil has a penchant for baking that he passed onto Legolas? Who knows?

Anywayyy. I think we all want to see Jareth the Glitter King save the day. :) ^_^
