... That went surprisingly well. With a lot going not-quite-spoken.
And amusingly enough it was this sort of time of year - early winter - that Sarah got kidnapped to the rooftop that other time, too.

[Unfortunately it's kinda hard to draw ironic enthusiasm, or at least I failed - panels 1-2-3 Sarah is being very brittle and snarky-toned in her "yay"-ness. just fyi.]

(... Oh gosh I am not doing all the Underground pages in colour...!!)

This is a work of fanart and solely intended for shits and giggles and vicarious fansquee. Not mine, not making money from it.

I'd be Luna in this.

Oh, so apparently Jareth is coming to the Labyrinth after all?

I wonder why it's inappropriate for Sarah to use a Portkey? Because she's not part of the universe to which that particular magic is native, perhaps...

So in fact Luna at least can get back whenever she wants, via 'mechanical' (or at least pre-charged) magic, quite independently of Jareth or anyone else.

"Moontouched" fits Luna's little oddities perfectly! (So much so that I wonder if that's what Rowling had in mind when naming her...)

Inappropriate for Sarah in her capacity as 'Temporary Acting Goblin Monarch'. As Jareth says, royalty needs to travel in style and [at least with the appearance of] under one's own powers - not as a hanger-on to someone else's Portkey.
::reading, reading, reading... LOSING IT when I got to Luna's line in the last panel:: ^_^

Holy shit I think I just developed a mighty need for matched ankle tattoos saying "It's further than you think" and "...And time is short..." (Or perhaps that would look better as a ring around one ankle?) Wait, what, a webcomic didn't just give me a metaphorical tattoo boner because of characters whispering and doing the dimension-shift mambo, that'd be weird, pssshhhhhht.

Oh Luna! I know glitter rocks!

On the re-read (naturally... Seriously, though, what else would I be doing?)

:bulletblue: Sarah's moment of looking straight at Jareth before she closes his eyes. Based on her expression, and the fact that she might be blushing, even as one of her eyes is ready to peak open super-quick, the look in Jareth's eyes must have been amazing. *sigh*
:bulletblue: The way he LOOKS at her while her eyes are closed, and how she settles into that moment of him looking at her.
:bulletblue: How whole-heartedly Luna enters into the adventure. We learn from Jareth a couple of panels later that Luna knew to expect something like this. I love her enthusiasm!
:bulletblue: Again with the partial faces! :iconmeltplz:
:bulletblue: The look on Jareth's face in the penultimate panel. That panel alone would have been enough happy fangirl moment for the whole ep. How WONDERFUL when the story and characters allow you to be this generous!

Ooh. Crystal ball bullet points now? Fancy.

I was tired of just using the asterix. And I like the shade of blue that dA uses for it. But I never thought of them being crystal ball bullets. Makes me happy, so I'll have to use them more! :D

Whee! Color! And of course, that reference back the game of Risk was priceless. Not to mention the Portkey spell... good call Luna. Miss Moon-touched. And of course, those last three panels show Jareth is still badass and awesome, even 27 years after his movie first came out.
