Well ain't this boding.


The frying-pan as weapon of choice comes from Discworld [+ 'Tangled' and Sam Gamgee] by way of Roommates' "Such Stuff" dream-arc. And I have long been itching for the chance to pimp out Jareth's armour in the wicked style he sports over there.

And coincidentally, in both comics it seems there are characters who have the common sense reaction, when dealing with a potentially dangerous/overpowered Goblin King, to give Harry Dresden, wizard PI, a call. I mean, there goes one guy who has as good a chance as any of blasting his way through the Nevernever to kick Fae butt, if the money is good and there are girls in trouble.


(And panel 7 Christine is all like, "if he wannabe my lover, he gotta help out my friends".)

I don't know, Jareth, the master criminal and the single-minded lawman actually teaming up to say "step out of line and WE WILL END YOU" sounds like a good time for sexy-boots quaking, Goblin King or no....

A Tortuga pigsty. Isn't that where they found Joshasmee Gibbs? I thought they found you in a tavern James.
Ah. The two resident Frenchmen glowering ominously as Jareth prepares to poof Luna and Sarah away, in full Goblin King array no less. Also, is that "quaking in my sexy boots" a connotative nod to Megamind? I'd love if it was!
I knew Tangled was denoted with the frying pan thing, but Samwise Gamgee? I didn't know that, and now I love him even more! :huggle: Hooray for my favorite Hobbit!
P.S. :rofl: Spice Girls reference in the description with Panel 7!

True, even if you're going with 'Blood Rites'-era Dresden, if damsels are in distress Harry can and will knock over all your towers and lead a bloody army strike force army through Hell and High Water to save said damsel(s). If I were Jareth contemplating a face off with a pissed off and properly armed Dresden I'd be quaking right out of my sexy boots.
