Once again, Az&Crowley come to put an end to all this meta shenanigans and attempt to keep the Building-'verse functional.
Of course, Susan Sto Helit was the obvious choice to deal efficiently with a children-threatening monster. But when statistics show the monster-hunting profession is a chockablock of handsome angsty menfolk in badass outfits, why not have some fun along the way? And invite the girlfriends in to enjoy the show? Next week will show the Pale Man's final fate and wrap up this Monster Hunters arc.

I really like how Lizzie's twigged to the fact of Marsha's CCTV cameras... and Christine & Sarah haven't quite. Or they're comfortable in the knowledge that Marsha likes to perv keep a watchful and problem-preventative-eye on the menfolk.
So... that's Marsha's apartment? Or Sarah & Christine's? Or it really doesn't matter? (given lack of goblins and RBC, I'd guess NOT Sarah & Christine's. Methinks that both the goblins and RBC populations are scared of Marsha. Random head-canon, you know)
Speaking of Susan Sto Helit, if this is post Thief of Time then does that make her part of the Weird/Supernatural Boyfriends and/or Stalkers Club (or whatever the group is properly called)? Because seriously, dating Time may be juuuust a little bit weirder than dating a River (and don't give me none of that half-human incarnation business. If having a humanoid incarnation were enough than Chihiro wouldn't be in charge of the group).
Eh... Susan's a Weird/Supe herself - the club gimmick is mostly for those *poor* confused mortal girls in relationships with nonhumans. Also Pterry kinda let that plot idea sizzle out, nu? I seem to recall post-Thief appearances by Susan with no hint of her being in a relationship with Lobsang...
I may have been recalling wrong, I can't see which later book that could possibly be with her in it, only I just remember feeling a sense of disappointment at reading something that implied no follow-up.
There is an impressively thorough Wikipedia page on Susan which informs me that Thief of Time is indeed her latest appearace, insofar as PTerry goes in for little things like continuity. There is yet hope!

I'll take your world for it, though I coulda sworn....
Still doesn't make Wibsy Club, tho, as she's a Supe herself.
Loki should be in this.
