Explosions on campus, every other week at Saint Jude's.
"That one Japanese student" Adam Young (from 'Good Omens' ) has issues with... well, there are any number of ridiculously powerful anime characters who could pretty much go toe-to-toe with the Antichrist's Reality Warper powers... Tetsuo, Haruhi....
Ramona and Scott as in, Scott Pilgrim vs the World of course.
And Beetlejuice seems to be trapped in some tiny portable device; Lydia has her ways.
And Leia is ever a Rebel [Seeking A Cause].
This week's episode may come off as a bit haphazard, it's plot-seguing stuff I had some trouble bashing into shape.

I like how calm Lizzie is in the first few panels. Yeah... stuff's blowing up and they've lost the south food court, yada yada yada. Unfazed until she sees her (dead) ex and his (dead) girlfriend. Yup. OMG!Drama happens, even to the Pirate King.
I really really like how your female characters (that aren't just throwaway gags) are ALL strong, stand-alone, can handle a plot-line single handedly. And how well they play together. I think it's a great demonstration of what synergy could / should be.
...and did Sarah explain Jareth's hibernation to Christine while they were getting from the airport back to the Building? (sorry if it's explained in later eps, but I haven't gotten there in this re-read, you know?) How smug was Chris when she heard it, and how well did she HIDE the being smug?
It kinda starts as deliberate flitering for sausage and NOT providing platefuls of fan-favourite Whitey McHero Dudes (except in the Monster Hunters arc of course), because GIRLSNextDoor, and Roommates brings the angsty hotties, and principles, but I really do end up enjoying letting the girls do their thing(s).
Didn't think too much on that, but I'm assuming Sarah just said something like "and Jareth's wiped from the teleporting from France and needs to recuperate for like 24hours" and just not provided any of the more intriguing details. Christine never witnessed that balcony debate between him and Erik nor read Azi's postcard, and she's had a lot to think about herself to keep her from ponder-meddling in Sarah's affairs.
Yup-yup. (like that phrase "Whitey McHero Dudes"!)
Ah, yes. My J/S goggles are a permanent fixture, so I naturally assumed that Christine knew what we all knew about their own emotions and drama. It's a good thing for Sarah, I think, that she's going to have to work through this set of emotions without relying on outside poking & prodding.
Speaking of Adam Young, you ever see the movie Dogma? Funny as long as you can take a religious joke. Anyway, I shudder to think about what would happen if Adam Young, the Antichrist, ever met the Daughter of the Last Zion (AKA, Many times great grand niece of Christ). I imagine the world would explode.

Doing a thesis on E.A. Poe, perhaps?
I hated how right before the end of good omens adam acted so grownup! Thank you so much!
