GND167 - Parisian Montage by Pika-la-Cynique GND167 - Parisian Montage by Pika-la-Cynique
O_O Ack. Maybe some day I'll finish this as smoothly illustration-like as I'd wish, but that day is not today.

---

- Erik and Francoeur jamming a little funky music together, with an Aristocat listening in.

- Arsène being one of those "hey hey look at this cool video" guys (or not able to lay off on planning new plots) at the fancy café with Raoul and Christine, who is gladly catching up on things with the man once known as Edmond Dantès, and Haydée. (Influenced by French telefilm version with Gérard Depardieu - while I'm no fan of his butt-nose, he brought a lot of presence to the role).

- Azi and Crowley at an unprepossessing but very yummy little restaurant in the Marais. Random order-to-go guy is a trifle surprised by them eating en terasse while the weather is Not Warm, but the angels aren't too bothered by such physiological trifles.

- Aaaaand Jareth being a mopey poseur glowering ominously.

---

Jareth is moping/glowering ominously on Notre-Dame.

Throw Claude Frollo glowering ominously (actually, make that any Notre-Dame de Paris character doing anything) in there and my fandom life is officially complete.

Now that's the cat I can see Eric and Jareth actually wanting to keep as a pet.
Refer to Roommates #72, #81-#85.
Eric would be absolutely charmed by Marie and Jareths favorite would be either Toulouse or Thomas O'Malley.

I've clearly been reading too much Leroux; my guess for the bistro guest was Count Philippe rather than the Count of Monte Cristo! (Unless I'm imagining a family likeness to a twenty-years-older Raoul in this picture...)

The body language of the background guest is very much Anton Ego :-D

I love the refleection/lighting effects; the mirrors, the candles.

I think Philippe is not going to get fancomic ressucitation.

Actually, I think I may have had this in mind:
:thumb266446008: (so no, he isn't in need of resucitation, quite apart from not existing in musical continuity!)

But to be honest I'd simply forgotten all about the Dantes discussion, so jumped to the conclusion that a fair-haired, middle-aged longnosed unknown was likely to be family, in the absence of any other inspiration... (Phoebus and Esmeralda would really have been a more logical guess, but that one didn't occur to me.)

I do love Lupin's manic expression here ;-D

I finally got to see A monster in Paris! I wish they'd just subtitled it and released it two years ago. >.< I love M! I like Francoeur's voice better in the original. But at least I finally got to watch it. ^_^ He and Erik would totally be bros. Although Francoeur's Raoul is way better than Erik's Raoul.
