Javert is a major Sgt Nicolas Angel fanboy and has been DYING to use that "this shit just got real" (and many other standard movie cop phrases) for the longest time.
And Eponine (yes that is her getting her cuddle-time with James disrupted by his anal lawman roommate) gets to stand in for Christine's usual "French romantic" role.
Now, if anyone is paying THAT much attention, I changed fonts for Jareth since his note to Jadis in #65. (This one is Jellyka BeesAntique Handwriting, thankyu dafont.) I tried to compromise between legibility and what felt right for him, but in any case here's a transcription for the eye-strained among you: Precious - Apologies for running counter to your plans, but I'm sure you'll understand that I can't quite bring myself to condone giving up the girl and resigning oneself to a lonely fate. J.
P.S. I promise I'll take you to Paris next time.
Sarah kinda should've seen that one coming, methinks.

I don't suppose there's any really likelihood of that happening soonish? Maybe "on the way" back to the Building from Underground? Jareth could leave a transport crystal for Luna, for whenever she's ready to go back.
Actually Luna still has the Portkey-style crystal first tossed her way that is a two-way ticket. If Jareth and Sarah were to be otherwise detained in the current arc, she can quite autonomously make her way back when she's done.
Sweeet! At the moment, I've got a better memory for the most recent ep, and then whatever arc I'm re-reading. Not necessarily the current arc. That's my explanation, and I'm sticking to it!
I notice that you very very thoroughly avoid any hints / answers as to the timing of... well... anything. Bravo on dodging giving any spoilers!
"This shit just got real." indeed. At least he doesn't drop the F-bomb every other sentence like another cop I know, a Mr. Leon Orcot of the LA police force (Petshop of Horrors). Of course, James is right, Eponine. Like in fan fiction, time runs differently in comics, unless the author/artist takes time zones into consideration. P.S. I've been to Paris, and seen L'Opera Garnier. I left a fan letter for Erik while I was there; I think it would be really romantic to take a tour down in the catacombs of the opera house/backstage (I didn't get to while I was there. ), only to be spirited away by some mysterious force. After struggling for a little while, my captor would realize I wasn't Christine at all and, hopefully, would want to get to know me better. I know French, and a little Italian too, in addition to English, so I could converse with him fairly easily. Sorry Jareth. All my fantasies concerning Paris are about Erik, not you! Although, it would be kind of interesting to be on the Eiffel Tower at night with you. Ah, there you go! There's one for you. P.P.S. In the 2004 movie, Box 5 is on the wrong side of the stage. If it was following L'Opera Garnier's true layout, Box 5 would be on stage right, or on the left if you're in the audience.
Jareth does still owe Sarah a trip to Paris...

/returning to actual comic continuity now
