Description

In which a certain famous literary work is spoofed, the English language is mangled, all a Goblin King's genre-savviness is to no avail, and slashers are gently mocked.

As credited above, this idea was all thanks to a brilliant suggestion by *Skyen , and a few lines are lifted straight from that wacky ol'Bill Shakes. I kinda missed the June 21st proper date fo posting this, but nevermind that.

I'll willingly admit I'm drawing heavily from Neil Gaiman's depiction of the Puck in The Sandman - where the "merry wanderer of the night" is rather a "psychotic menace to life and limbs, more like...". And while I wouldn't do it in a straighter fic, I can't help but think that GND-Jareth, what with his mummy issues and his (nearly) ever-Failerriffic adventures in the Building... isn't frankly about to inspire fear and respect in the Puck, who's an irreverent trickster even at his best...

I love what Javert does, and Eponine's reaction
