Jareth is the only non human in the main cast. Sarah is not his keeper and people expecting her to be is kind of insulting to both of them. She shouldn't have to handle him, she just holds him to a higher standard. But she still knows he's not human and I'm pretty sure that's why she likes him so much ngl
