*Chamaelirium 's request/thank you piece for responding to the challenge.
It's her original character Caoilainn from her lovely ongoing fic, He Doesn't See Me [link]
who proves you can create a beautiful Fae woman OC who is also a decent, intelligent, caring person, not necessarily a sluttish power-grasping intriguante. She's also - gasp - a former lover of Jareth's, and remains an ally and good friend of his.
Chamaelirium mentioned her feeling a slight pang of regret on that matter, though. And that is all the hint the AAAANGST!-addict that I am needed to picture things like this, with a self-mocking, wistful smile and Fae pride coming in there somewhere... Also, couldn't resist giving His Nibs a cameo. =D

Lovely work, she certainly looks very mournfully wistful (to me at least).

Hehe, his nibs....:giggle:

Basically the word mankind is made up of two separate words, mank and ind. What do these words mean? Nobody knows and that is why mankind is a mystery - Jack Handey

She is quite graceful and lovely. I think the eyebrow to the left is a bit high, though, and the nose needs more shadow. I love the self-deprecation in her expression.

I'm covered with the fingerprints of everyone I've ever met. ~~ I don't want to love with my knees turned to jelly, my head spinning, or butterflies in my stomach; but, instead, with eyes wide open and both feet planted firmly on solid ground.~~

Ah... she has the long elegant neck that I wish I had. :D

The title really emphasises the mood here - just that little bit of longing she allows herself to feel, to wallow in for the briefest of moments. For things that were, and could have been. Ah, love it. *goes back to writing*

Joli! J'aime beaucoup les tons terreux que tu utilises ici, son expression et l'arbre dans lequel la chouette est perchée; les traits sont simples mais efficaces...

What a delight this is! All this inventing, this producing, takes place in a pleasing, lively dream.
