[GND218-219] Reeeeeally with the Raoul-bashing?

24%
768 deviants said OK, I rather like(d) him, he's got reasons to be shirty, but he's coming off a bit dickish all in all.

755 deviants said Newly savvy, snarky Raoul is an improvement on stuck-up clueless aristo; he's gained a few points in my eyes.

649 deviants said Look, I've nothing against the dude per se, just... Erik/Christine damnit!

528 deviants said Troll on, my man de Chagny, troll on. You can't win for losing with the phangirls.

299 deviants said I hate the fop with the fiery passion of a thousand burning suns whatever incarnation and whatever he does.
8%
252 deviants said He is acting like a complete dick, and it is totally uncalled for and mean of him to point out Erik's tendencies towards murder, blackmail and kidnap after dodging punjab lassoes for years. Um. Wait, is this sarcastic?does it count as pro- or anti-fop?ack

In response to a certain series' popularity on tumblr, and many requests made....

I do not like you, Benny-Holmes,
Though acknowledging your fine cheekbones.
I do not like your Johnlock fans,
(though rather admire gay Moriarty's plans).
I do adore your awkward Martin,
But Bilbo is his finest castin'!
Inspector Lestrade is a true silver fox,
that "Not My Division" gif everywhere rocks!
Though Lara Pulver made a gorgeous Adler,
Her character arc was a sexist disaster.
And that Black Lotus Triad Chinese ninja assassin!?
OMG, what is this, a 1950s Tintin?
'Sherlock' your plots are just clever as can be,
and a twist! the setting's twenty-twelve AD!
Still I join not in your writers' adulation,
nor, post "Reichenbach", their vituperation...
Aye, Bundersnatch is a very fine actor -
I admired his turn as Frankenstein's Monster -
But BBC Sherlock does little for me
(btw that intro? sounds a lot like Ritchie).
I cannot quite twig why exactly this is,
But this whole fangirl favourite for me does not fizz.
So shoo with your hedgehogs and LOL Smaug is BORED,
and your Good Omens castings, you Sherlockèd horde;
to my fancomic cast I have no plans to add on
your fave high-functioning sociopath do your research Anderson.

(No, I haven't watched Elementary yet.)
Apologies to all English majors. Counter-arguments accepted only in verse.

I don't suppose we'd be lucky enough to have you at this year's A-Kon, would we?

I don't know if you have seen this yet. If you haven't, well...you should. I immediately thought of you. I actually assume you wrote it under a nom de plume: [link]

Funnily enough, several internet friends thought it would be relevant to my interests and sent me the link. Go figure, eh. :)

hahaha! I figured that might be the case, but I thought, on the OFF CHANCE that no one had yet, it would be a shame if it were overlooked.

Pika! I was at David Bowie Is at the V&A museum today - they had two props from Labyrinth. A crystal ball, and the infamous riding crop, which I had a momentary inappropriate snicker at. If you get a chance, go! It is utterly epic :)

I'm sure you are already aware, but a metal version of Phantom of the Opera has been composed by the ever so talented Eric Calderone.

I couldn't help but remember the Guitar Heroes episode between the boys. It seemed almost made for that moment!

Umm... have you ever seen Terrence Mann as Javert in the OBC of Les Mis, or Frank N. Furtur in the revival of Rocky Horror Show? :giggle: It'd be funny if you did a pic' of them meeting up. You or Ashe!
