So I participated in the (inter)national challenge issued by the Angoulême BD&comics festival, that is, drawing a 24page comic on a set theme over a 24hour period, 3pm to 3pm WHEEE MADNESS. I'd only gotten 13 pages done last time I participated. A bunch of other local artists and art students did it in a lock-in type situation here in Lyon and it was good sleep-deprived fun (getting too old for this shit though).
I fluffed up and didn't make it in time to sign up to appear on the official website
, unfortunately. (but by all means check out the weird and wonderful talents there!) And I "only" got 20 pages done - though this year's rules of engagement were actually... kinda blah and easy? anyway.
But I had a blast and I am rather proud of my little exercise.
Obviously that left me no time to wrap up GND page for this week BUT I'm slapping a quick translation on the pages and uploading them here in a new folder, so you get a brand new complete short story comic. I'll complete the upload and add some explanations and navigation buttons this weekend.
