English information on Deviation linked above ^ We need help kickstarting a really cool self-publishing venture with a bunch of other Lyon-based artists. If your French is up to it, there's a nifty presentation video and the entire first issue digitally viewable on our fundraiser page. :)

Thanks for your time!

(PS. just FYI, the Austin meet-up plans fell through in the end, alas.)

I'm just casually up at 2 AM reading GND. I love the style of your art!

-whispers- you should update soon, dear. Some of us might explode.

-wise nodding- mhm.

Oh no. I'm all caught up! I spent a few days binge-reading GND after seeing it in one of  Sursum Ursa's videos. It's so good and I'm excited to see more. :). Your artwork is so beautiful.

You know, all it took was *a single YouTube screenshot* of GK and OG squaring off to do musical battle with with fake guitars and I was KO'd by nostalgia. I'd deleted my DevArt account a few months prior-- what a gross oversight! I need it to read GND!!

I usually work seven days a week, but I had a blissful day off on Sunday... and I'm happy to say that I spent it setting up a new account and rereading this entire webcomic (and, of course, re-watching Labyrinth). Not that I needed to reread it: I've got an almost embarrassing fraction of your best one-liners memorized.

I can remember, not just the dorm decorations (and the homework I was shirking), but even the *classes I was taking* when I first started reading Girls Next Door. I was, rather fittingly, visiting England for the first time, listening to Peter Pan audiobooks on my walk to classes every morning. I wish I could remember if that was the first time I watched Labyrinth, too-- it was sometime in college. Unsurprisingly, as is true of any media with "Jim Henson" in the credits, I didn't need to be a kid to react to it like a kid.

Back then, your goofy, accomplished webcomic had me up at 2am blissfully doodling Sarah enveloped by starry, billowing gouache curtains with crossover-y quotes like, "Wendy, Wendy, when you are sleeping in your silly bed you might be flying about with me saying funny things to the stars".

Maybe I've just had my head in the sciences for too long, now (this time I'm shirking an elementary school powerpoint on the predatory adaptations of dragonfly larvae, not watery undergraduate speculations on religious symbolism in Beowulf)-- but the fantasy+nostalgia headrush has been such a rare treat, I just had to stop and say so.

How WEIRD is it to love any story or thing for a decade or more? And find yourself able to track your own changes as a human person while your fondness for that thing remains in so many ways unchanged?

Hello, I am contacting people I have decided to watch and admire to tell them about a project we have underway.

Myself and Traumwelt (visit his DA page here-->nemoalleintraumwelt.deviantart…) have begun creating our first comic book together. It is called Old Harry's tale, and it is a supernatural and philosophical drama. The first six pages of Issue #1 will be submitted to Tumblr and DA

We call ourselves Scapegoat comics and all news of the project will be relayed here at the Scapegoat comics club -->… And I would like all those who watch me to join.

The project is going to be set to a kickstarter which will be linked to the club page later within the month. And all who join the club will have early access to the rewards including the free digital intro comic bening the rules.

If you want to join it is automatically approved, you just need to click a button. If you don't want to, that's fine. It's your choice after all.

Also even if you do not join the club I would be most pleased if you watched this video we made and tell us what you think-->…

Once again, you can ingore all of this. You have free will after all.
